Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® Alabama 28-4 Mission Statement

We are an association of combat veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who share a passion for motorcycle riding. As a registered 501(c)(3) veterans’ charity, our mission is to support and protect those who have defended our country and its freedoms.

Our focus is on providing assistance to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities, as well as school-sponsored and youth-related events. Each year, we sponsor and participate in numerous veteran-related motorcycle charity events and other community activities. As a non-profit organization, we also donate to a wide range of veteran causes and children’s charitable initiatives.

Our membership consists of three categories: Full Members, who have verified combat service; Supporter Members, who have non-combat military service and demonstrate a strong commitment to assisting veterans; and Auxiliary Members, who are the spouses of Full and Supporter Members.

Chapter AL 28-4 is based in Hamilton, Alabama, and serves the counties of Colbert, Fayette, Franklin, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Marion, Walker, and Winston. In addition, the association maintains chapters and members in all 50 states and in numerous countries abroad, including combat zones.

It is important to note that we are an association, not a motorcycle club (MC). While we operate within geographic regions, we do not claim territory, maintain a clubhouse, or operate as a traditional motorcycle club. The patch worn by our members is a single-piece design.
